From 13th till 16th of September a creative meeting of three theaters took place. A Karelian side presented theater studio “Rostok” (department of the Youth Union “Doroga”) from Petrozavodsk, Finnish theater “Floppi-Fraasi” from Joensuu and the theater “Pogos” from Ilomantsi. During three days children worked in the joint master-classes, which were held by both Karelian and Finnish directors.
During staging of joint etude it was obvious that different languages are not a problem for achievement of joint creative result. Besides, children from Petrozavodsk showed to Finnish students their new play “Fedot, da ne tot…” The play was hearty received by Finnish children and pedagogues. Especially Russian speaking students that lived in Finland were pleased.
Collectives’ leaders arranged about new joint activities – master-classes, touring trips of three collectives to each other. Including, there was a suggesting from Finnish side about staging of common play by powers of all three creative groups’ participants.
The creative meeting was possible thanks to realization of the project “Youth House Karelia”.
